Western Excelsior's Excel SD-3 temporary Erosion Control Blanket (ECB) consists of a 100% Rocky Mountain Excelsior matrix stitched between two heavy-duty, synthetic nets. Excel SD-3 is manufactured to incorporate a heavier excelsior matrix, greater tensile strength and thickness than standard excelsior blankets. The Excel SD-3 ECB provides erosion control for a period of up to eighteen months and serves as a mulching layer.
