Western Excelsior manufactures a full line of erosion control products including a wide variety of Rolled Erosion Control Products (RECPs). Erosion control products are designed and implemented to stabilize in-situ soil, thus reducing non-point-source pollution. RECPs provide many advantages as erosion control solutions including cost, speed of implementation, ability to vegetate, and meet a variety of longevity and performance criteria. RECPs are specified by the intended longevity and performance.

Western Excelsior is dedicated to delivering RECPs that meet jobsite specifications and provide reliable performance. Performance metrics including flow velocity, shear stress and cover factor are utilized to establish benchmarks for both the Excel temporary Erosion Control Blankets (ECBs) and permanent Turf Reinforcement Mats (TRMs). Quality control procedures ensure each RECP meets the performance benchmarks. Through a rigorous program of testing and quality control, Western Excelsior RECPs are designed, manufactured and delivered to meet the designer's requirements and provide project performance.
